The Day Everything Changed
On June 5th, 2021, our paths crossed at the famous Praça do Comércio in Lisbon, Portugal. Priscilla was there on a mission trip, while Oscar was visiting his home country on holiday.
Neither of us knew it at the time, but God was arranging a meeting that would change our lives forever. What began as a simple introduction soon blossomed into a meaningful friendship.
"Rather than rushing ahead, we chose to patiently wait on His timing."
Five Years of Friendship
Despite visiting different churches and living far apart, we stayed connected — always briefly catching up when we saw one another.
As the years passed, we intentionally sought God's guidance for our lives and future. We prayed, grew in our faith, and continued getting to know one another as friends.
Then, after five years of faithfully waiting on God, we felt led to explore the possibility of something more.
A Beautiful Romance
We quickly discovered that the friendship we had built over the years was becoming a beautiful romance. We laughed together, shared our hearts openly, and realized how well we complemented one another.
The more time we spent together, the more convinced we became that God had been preparing us for this chapter all along.
Then came one of the most memorable days of our lives. Oscar got down on one knee and asked Priscilla to marry him.

Forever Begins
What began as a friendship in a Lisbon square has become a love story marked by faith, patience, and God's perfect timing.
We cannot wait to begin this new chapter together as husband and wife — continuing to build a life centered on love, faith, and the One who brought us together.
And so, our greatest adventure is just beginning.
A love story written in Lisbon, celebrated in Amsterdam, and lived for a lifetime.
